Forest Essentials - Ultra Rich Body Lotion - Indian Rose Absolute

HIIIIIIIIII!!!

Tomorrow is NEW YEAR!!
Made any resolutions ? Let me know incase you have made any!!

:)

Now, to the review,

I have tried a lot of Forest Essential products - Ubtan, Face Cream (the one of sandalwood) , Vitamin E body butter - I have loved them ALL. And, this product is no exception.

The biggest plus is that - Their products not only have most of the ingredients as natural ingredients, but when you use them, you get the feeling of the natural ingredient. These don't feel or smell artificial!

Well, I loved their Vitamin E body cream, and wanted to get some more. I went to shop and instead of getting the vitamin E cream, I craved for something different.. They were out of stock of Absolute rose cream. So, I bought the Body Lotion in absolute rose.

**
The fragrance is divine.
I love the subtle fragrance which should be flowery and sweet. If you are anything like me, You would LOVE this lotion.

**
If you have a very dry skin, then i would recommend you to go in for their body butters. But, Chennai is very humid - And, this is perfect for me. Though, I do prefer the butter version as my skin is extremely dry!

**
You do have to blend in a bit more when compared to creams. Appears as though their cream has almond butter which easy to blend and this lotion has Olive Oil and Kokum butter which is relatively harder to blend it. But, the massage is worth it, As the lotions gets completely absorbed in a matter of few minutes!!

**
Ingredients :
Burt Cane Sugar, Olive Oil, Kokum Butter, Almod Oil, Apricot Oil, Beeswax, ETC. Full List has been provided in the images below! :)

**
Price: Rs 875
Really Really worth the price!

Enjoy the pictures!
Well! Thats the Lotion!
Thats the Lotion!
Isn't the logo beautiful ?? Love it!
Used so much in around 20 days!
See, Creamy!
Love the packaging!
Oh yeah! It was Rs 875/

My December 2013 Vel -- oh oh - Fab Bag..

Hey All,

I have never posted my velvelte boxes in my blog so far. And, I am not a regular subscriber.
And, I didnt subscribe after the box became the bag..
But this time, Its year end & I really really wanted to get a surprise for myself.. So I went ahead and subscribed to velvette bag. After the arrival of the bag, I came to know that It has changed to FAB BAG .. What a Name??? FAAAABAAAG.. gaabaaff ?? They could have named it better ?? huh?
Anyways,
Enjoi the pics ..

I had got:
1. LA Splash in purply sparkles -- Which I love. This goes sheer on first few coats but you can totally build it up to opaque like i have done. This dries up really really fast!! And when I say fast - It dries within 20 seconds.. Awesome!! And, No matter how many coats you apply, it does not get splotchy or thick or even heavy..
LOVE it!! Thanks FAB BAG!! :)
2. Brocato Actives hair repair serum -- I am not very sure whether i love this! Well, This, to me, feels no different from Matrix/Livon/Silk&Shine potions. Not worth getting this, IMO!!
3. h2O+ Eye Lift concentrate -- The cream is very light and gets absorbed quickly. Looks like i need to try this on few more times before I decide whether to get this or not.
4. Anna Andre -- I haven't bothered to open this!! Well, Nail polish and Remover go hand in hand. And, its very thoughtful of them to give a nail polish remover as a bonus product when giving nail polish as a full size product! But still, Its a nail polish remover!! Hmmm..!! Good thinking , but in a Luxury bag!! ? Naah!!!!

Oh! And, I love the Christmasy bag!! :)
So, that's 1 out of 4 !! At least I got a sparkly nail polish!! I am happy.. :)

My new nails..

Like sparkly nails?

Have you ever entered a forest essentials shop ? Ever whiffed that beautiful fragrance ? If not, Please visit forest essentials shop -- I am not requesting you to buy anything from there - Just visit and take a whiff of that flowery fragrance .. Its AMMMMAzzzzing.. :)

Hmm.. So, Today, Its a review about the Forest Essentials Toner - Panchpush.

Description from their website:
This hydrosol or floral water comes from the condensation collected during the steam distillation of flowers when extracting essential oils. This contains five flowers of which the Rose is naturally hydrating, Bela helps in retaining moisture, Marigold is toning, Kewda is softening and Saffron gives a glow to the skin.

The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate and tone it and prepare it for your nourishing routine. Our pure and active water-based toners are made from floral, fruit and herbal extracts, captured and crystallized at the height of potency, essential to the Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive the skin.Rose has cooling, soothing and moisturizing properties. It is naturally hydrating and its seductive floral scent, promotes a feeling of well being and harmony. Marigold or Calendula has a high content of flavonoids, that act as anti-oxidants in the body. Bela helps retain moisture in the skin. Kewda is an anti-oxidant and cools the system. Saffron gives the skin a warm glow.

Ingredients:
Steam Distilled Rose Water, Steam Distilled Marigold Water, Steam Distilled Bela Water, Steam Distilled Kewda Water, Saffron water

Enjoi the picks! :)

Loving it !
* Pale yellow liquid
* Ammazing flowery fragrance that your nose would prove to be the most natural. If you like the frangrance of fresh saffron, then, you would love the fragrance!
* Awesome Ingredients
* Spray bottle packing makes using this easy peasy

Not so much Loving it !
* Does nothing -- My skin rocks between oily and dry and this hasn't made any difference to both. :(
* Costly - The brand states itself to be 'luxurious' ayurveda - So, i think i can pardon this.

Would I buy this again?
Nooo.. Lovely fragrance, Natural ingredients but does nothing to my skin. And therefore, no. Maybe i would try their rose water next! :)

Anyways, Jumping to the review :

Let the pictures explain what the product does:

Ingredients:

Swatch:

What Did I like???
1) Packaging --
Huh ? You are thinking, Arey! its a sachet -- Whats so special about the packaging ?
What i liked about this sachet is that , it has two sides ribbed and its easier to open the sachet than many others that i have opened. And, it cuts out just a very small opening so, that's great!
However, Storage is gonna be difficult with this kinda sachet - even though this is just a sample, they could have provided it in a small tube.

2) Fragrance --
Smells like some moisturizing cream - definitely not a fruit / flower fragrance. This is something artificial. But, I like it. And, its not overpowering. Its just fine. Also, it disappears after few seconds of application.

3) Scrub --
This has minute non abrasive particles - Perfect for everyday scrubbing.

4) I applied it as a pack --
Applied it as a pack first thing this morning and I still can feel the freshness it has given me despite being very tired. It has also added a certain glow to my face. And, I have skipped the moisturizer - This does not leave our skin parched. Nice Huh! ?

What i did  NOT like?

1) Sample packing -- Nivea, if you are reading this -- Next time don't have the samples in Sachet. See, I have used to the sample as a pack - and i have some more product left - how do i save it out ?

2) No lather - -Yeah! There is no later at all. Its like applying a cream and then washing it off. Personally, this is not a problem for me as I am still getting the fresh feel without the lathering!

The Body Shop - BORN Lippy strawberry

I love roaming around the malls.
I love roaming around the malls and taking a peek into all the skin care & cosmetic shops.
I love roaming around the malls and taking a peek into all the skin care & cosmetic shops And, come out after looking at the price tags!
Hehehe! If i repeat that line once more, i know my readers would take a broom and drive me out! :)

I have gone into The Body Shop tonnes of times. And, Each time I have snipped their products, loved the fragrance and come out looking at the price tags.
However, I got caught once -- Huh!? Caught? -- You know, the SAs are very gentle and soft and give so much information about the product and rave about them that you just have to give and buy a little for all the talking they have done!

And thus, I bought The Body Shop's Born Lippy Strawberry lip balm.
Let me tell you, I was the first ever customer of The Body Shop in Vijaya forum mall @ Vadapani!! Yay for Me!!

Coming to the lip balms,
I have used a lot of lip balms  - Himalayas, Lotus, Shahnaz Hussain, Biotique, Vaadi, Desi Ghee ..

But i have to admit, TBS lip balm is the best of All.. Its
tasty - sugary sweet,
glossy - imparts just the natural shine,
creamy - easy to glide from the box,
colored - gives a faint reddish color that is just perfect for any lip pigmentation,
moisturizing - my lips became very soft after first day's use itself,
and the list of all +ves goes on..

The only -ve that i can think of is the packaging - why oh why cant they have made the packaging a little more cuter ? a little more sophisticated? a little more hygienic ?

I guess, all perfect stuff must have at least one con - i can pardon the packaging but not the hygiene part. Looks like they have started packaging of lip balms in tubes.. Way to go TBS!
