Lush KARMA Soap - Review

I love Lush soaps.. and I bought this one lonnng back.. Here is the review for the same.. :)

Description from Website:
Top up your Karma quotient with a quick wash during the day. Karma soap combines our palm-free soap base with an incredibly invigorating Karma fragrance. Buy a big chunk, slice some off for the basin and the kitchen sink, then keep the rest for the shower. There's enough Karma fragrance in each bar to perfume your whole body each time you wash.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Rapeseed Oil; Coconut Oil (Brassica napus; Cocos nucifera), Sodium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Hydroxide, Perfume, Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus sinensis), Lavandin Oil (Lavandula hybrida), Pine Oil (Pinus sylvestris), Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus), Elemi Oil (Canarium commune), Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), *Citral, *Geraniol, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 18050 * Occurs naturally in essential oils Vegan

Price:
485 INR per 100 gms

Positives :) :

It is a beautiful pinkish-reddish soap with a very good calming and at the same time, an invigorating soap.

It reminds me of puja rooms , and smells to me, more like an agarbaththis. So, If you like the agarbaththi aroma, then probably you would end up liking this soap.

For those who don’t know or don’t remember how agarbaththi smells like, I would relate the smell to a hint of lemon, orange and a lot more of patchouli essence.

It lathers well, and the scent lasts for around an hour or two after bathing.

It does remove dirt and grime to an extent , does not remove the hardcore grease stains.

Negatives :( :

It melts really fast, but not as fast as porridge soap. You would know what I mean if you have used the porridge soap.

I make it a point to cut up lush soaps into little squares and use them. The rest of the soap is safely stashed away in a dry cardboard box.

But still, I find Rs 485 for just two months is a lot!

It makes my skin a little tight and dry, nothing that the moisturizer can not fix, though.

The only thing I actually like about this one is the perfume and that it lasts for quite a while.

This one does not moisturize, does not scrub, in short this one is a normal soap with good aroma.

Will I buy this again??

Nopes.

Rating:

3.5 out of 5.0 (Given the rating for the perfume, this soap can be skipped if you are not much into perfumed soaps.)
